Default Behavior

Flpydisk is a kernel device driver. In Windows XP it is starting right at Kernel initialization. If the Flpydisk fails to load or initialize, Windows XP start up proceeds without error messages, but information about the failure is being written into Event Log.

Restore Default Startup Configuration for Flpydisk

1. Select your Windows XP edition and service pack, and then click Download.

2. Save the WinXP_Flpydisk_Service_Startup.cmd file to a local storage device.

3. Run the saved file.

4. Restart the computer.
