Cdfs Service Defaults in Windows XP
Cdfs is a file system driver. In Windows XP it is disabled and isn't loading or starting. If the Cdfs fails to start, the technical information about the error is added to the Event Log. Windows XP startup should proceed, but a message box should be displayed informing the user that the Cdfs service has failed to start.
Cdfs depends on the CD-ROM Driver service.
