Default Behavior

Abiosdsk is a kernel device driver. In Windows XP it is disabled and isn't loading or starting. If the Abiosdsk fails to load or initialize, Windows XP start up proceeds without error messages, but information about the failure is being written into Event Log.

Restore Default Startup Configuration for Abiosdsk

1. Select your Windows XP edition and service pack, and then click Download.

2. Save the WinXP_Abiosdsk_Service_Startup.cmd file to a local storage device.

3. Run the saved file.

4. Restart the computer.
